RULES AND REGULATIONS

The Gunbarrel Commons Park (the Park) is a private park. Only residents of Habitat, Hunter Creek, Huntington Point, Powderhorn, and Willow Brook can use the Park

These Rules cover the Gunbarrel Commons Park which goes from the corner of White Rock Cir. & Indigo Ct. to East along the Nature Path, ending at 63 St.

The Park is not responsible for your personal safety.

If you feel unsafe or threatened or witness unlawful behavior while on Park property, please call the Sheriff at 303-441-4444.

The Park does not provide security and cannot protect you from harm.

The Park cannot protect residents from each other.

The Park is not a police power and cannot enforce the law.

SIGNS

Signs shall not be posted on Park property without prior approval from the Board. This includes real estate signs, open house signs, and all other marketing and promotional signage.

DOGS

The Park is not a dog park. Well-behaved dogs are allowed to be off leash if under voice and sight control.

Dogs shall not be left unattended or tethered.

All dogs entering the Park shall be up to date on vaccinations and must be wearing a current proof of rabies vaccination tag on their collar.

Dangerous dog aggression or dog attacks should be reported immediately to Boulder County Animal Control by calling 303-441-3333. The dog owner will be held liable for any attack on a person or pet.

Dog owners are required to clean up their dog’s waste as it occurs.

MOTORIZED VEHICLES & EQUIPMENT

Motorized vehicles are not permitted in the Park. This includes cars, trucks, RVs, motorcycles, e-bikes, motorized skateboards, motorized scooters, golf carts, and chainsaws.

EVENTS & STRUCTURES

Only temporary shade canopies Under 12 x 12 are permitted to be in the Park. All other structures are not permitted.

Organized events are not permitted.

NUISANCE

No nuisance shall be permitted in the Park, nor any use or practice which is the source of annoyance to residents, or which interferes with the peaceful enjoyment of the residential units.

TRASH

Park trash containers are not to be used for household waste.

Littering in the Park is prohibited. This includes cigarette butts, pet waste, and food waste.

SAFETY

Exercise equipment shall be used in accordance with posted instructions.

No activities shall be conducted in the Park which are or might be unsafe or hazardous to any person or property.

No firearms or fireworks shall be discharged in the Park.

No open fires shall be lit or permitted in the Park.

No use shall be made of the Park which violates the statutes, rules or regulations of any governmental authority having jurisdiction over the Park.

Violation of these Rules may result in fines in accordance with the Enforcement Policy:

Warning Letter: No Fine

First Violation: $200

Second Violation: $300
